Happy Friday: Holiday Cheer Starts Here

Happy pre-vacation Friday, my lovelies! I hope everyone's company has given you Christmas Eve off so that you can enjoy a four-day weekend. It's hard for me to believe that I'll be out of the office for nearly three weeks after today, but it will be a much-needed break from the crazy fourth quarter I've had.

This afternoon, I'm meeting my law school crew for lunch at a Cuban restaurant near my office. Later tonight, Mr. Cool and I are meeting his friends for dinner and drinks, and then I need to pack in a frenzy for both Christmas with my family and a wedding, New Year's Eve and beach vacation in India. I also need to bake cookies for a friend's birthday party and cookie exchange tomorrow night. Busy, busy, busy, but it's all good things.

Happy Friday, everyone!

  4. You sound like me...I need to wrap all my gifts, bake my cookies and cheesecake, pack, do laundry, and clean. I think i need to call my parents to come get me on sun. Tmrw at 11 am is not enough time argh! I hope you enjoyed your lunch at the Cuban restaurant. Years ago I went to one in Miami....either my friend and I didn't know what to order or Cuban cuisine is just not that yummy.....or that restaurant was just lousy.

  6. Have a great three week holiday, a well deserved one at that. Beaching in India sounds hot and fabulous! Will send a toast your way from Oz while we're beaching it up too.
