After an especially heinous week at work, I'm beyond ready for a three-day weekend to rest and recharge. As usual, Mr. Cool and I managed to fill it to the brim with a quick trip to Napa tonight, brunch with friends tomorrow and football on Sunday afternoon. We are also attending Mr. Cool's cousin's "vintage peacock"-themed wedding reception on Sunday night. We have some downtime scheduled for Saturday evening, but knowing us, we'll end up making some plans to fill the gap.
A lot of people don't have Monday off, but fortunately my firm does. I'm planning to enjoy the break to its fullest, including finally getting back into my workout routine and catching up on a few magazines that have been piling up on my nightstand.

ReplyDeleteHave a great three-day weekend! I'm bummed that my husband has to work on Monday, but since the city will be overrun with Inauguration madness, we probably wouldn't venture out too much anyway. The vintage peacock wedding theme sounds awesome!
