Weekend in Review, Vol. 79

I'm officially back (as of one week ago), and in some ways it feels like I never left. Work is crazy, we have a ton of plans with friends coming up and the weather is just as cold as it was before the holidays. I'm still a bit jet-lagged, but am hoping that the restful weekend we just had worked wonders for my internal clock.

I spent Friday night and Saturday morning sorting through the 1,000+ photos we have from our trip to India and uploading them to Facebook and Picasa. I could probably devote several weeks of blog posts to how amazing our trip was, but I'm going to do my best to streamline my photos and intersperse my normal posts in with my recaps.

On Saturday, we headed to Mrs. D and Mr. A's condo to watch the 49ers clobber the Packers. I was home and asleep by 11:00 p.m., and woke up refreshed just in time to join some friends for brunch at Cafe Golo in Cow Hollow on Sunday morning. The rest of the day was spent getting a head start on work, cooking and relaxing for the long week ahead. Just five days until the three-day weekend!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Happy belated New Year, everyone!

  6. Go 49ers! Heard that Coit Tower was lit up for them! Never tire of seeing a San Franciscan street pic, hope you're finding your way back after the holidays. I find it takes days for me to adjust back and get into the swing of things!
