On Friday night, Mr. Cool and I met up with Mr. and Mrs. O to scout potential locations for my upcoming birthday party. I think we found one we liked, and I managed to snap a photo of the light fixture inside just before we left. Now it's up to Mr. Cool to get the rest of the details in place for my pink, black and bubbly birthday! On Saturday, we joined Mrs. PJ and company for a birthday scavenger hunt around Russian Hill, North Beach and The Marina. Our team came in second-to-last, but we had a ton of fun in the process and were rewarded with catered food from Tacolicious once we finished.
On Sunday, Mr. Cool and I woke up early to get our taxes done. We celebrated the modest return we will be receiving with lunch at Bun Mee on Fillmore. After chowing down on tofu spring rolls and rice bowls, we returned home to relax, cook and prepare for the week ahead.
